iamamiwhoami; sever; sever
As you may already know, we finally have a date to hold our breaths: 20120215! (that is February 15, 2012).
This is the date for the release of sever (and it’s expected to be accompanied by a video), according to Amazon. which brings us some interesting details:
- Label: Cooperative Music
- Copyright: To whom it may concern.
Previous singles have both copyright and label credited to http://www.youtube.com/user/iamamiwhoami.
Cooperative Music has released music by The Knife, Fever Ray, CSS, YELLE, Interpol, dEUS, MSTRKRFT, and many others.
Could this be the reason to the singles being removed from Amazon? although, the singles are still available on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.jp, they were pulled off from Amazon UK, DE and FR. will they come back under Cooperative Music?
We’ve also noticed the absence of some works on the ISWC database under the list of Jonna and iamamiwhoami. it could be a bug of the ISWC Network, as they can still be found with the work’s code; or maybe they didn’t like so much that we were revealing their titles…
the lyrics from the preview:
I look so grand from the distance that you mean to touch
It gives the vision of the simple but it is so much
I won, before
Could it be “Reflectance of the Pure and Simple” (aka “Mirror Mirror”)?
I found the ISRCs for many of the released recordings. the registrant code for the bounty recordings is from the US, including some of the remixes. the recordings from IN CONCERT to clump, and some of the bounty remixes, are registered under a TC registrant code.
Note: This is the first single that doesn’t include the To whom it may concern. tag.
